The fire department can remove it…
“Oh — you can go to the fire department and have that removed…” said my twin sister in a very anxious tone of voice over the phone.
If you’re wondering 🤷🏼♀️like I was — here’s the preface:
For my birthday, my sweet sister in law and brother in law asked me if I wanted a permanent bracelet? To which the answer was a resounding HECK YES.
We got up early and met for coffee at this cute little coffee shop on a street that felt a little like walking into Luke’s Diner in Stars Hollow…
If Luke’s Diner was an adorable hipster coffee shop with an excellent assortment of equally hip and delicious lattes (ones Luke would NEVER make because coffee should be black) crowded with visitors and dogs, happy with the flutter of voices, and served really really really good cake.
Any Gilmore Girls fan knows that’s NOT going to be the case at Luke’s, but — the Stars Hollow vibes rang true.
After a delicious breakfast, much needed coffee even when it’s decaf for me (the limit doesn’t exist) and some auntie snuggles for my 6 month old, we set out to get our bracelets.
After basically a skip, hop, and a jump, our bracelets were welded on, and we were all done! Cutie bracelets, a fun morning complete, and having a leeetle bebe that remained chill through it all was probably the most exciting part 🤣—
Snapped a pic as one does to send to my sister —
GOT MY PERMANENT BRACELET!!!!
and she calls me —
“Permanent?? You can go to the fire department and get it removed if you need to!!”
If you’re unfamiliar with permanent bracelets, here’s the 411 —
They’re small chains that are easy to wear and don’t come off easily. However, if you really needed it off, you *could* in theory cut it off with wire cutters.
I digress —
My point here is that these *permanent bracelets* could be considered hard to get.
But art!? That’s simple.
And I’ve got a really pretty collection hitting The Scouted Studio on July 20. You don’t want to miss it!
Feels Like Summer — coming July 20!
Can’t wait to share these magical pieces with you.
